HUWAW! I’m flattered. Salamat!!!

Chino David.
Violin, backup vocals.
Whenever I listen to Silent Sanctuary songs (yeah I’m a fan), I always watch out for his violin solos, because I’m a frustrated violin player. I remember graduating primary school and I was told by my father that I need to learn how to play at least one musical instrument (it’s a weird tradition in our family that you get music lessons in middle school, yeah add voice lessons to that) and I was brought to a music store to pick my instrument.
My first choice was the violin. When was young I actually play with my toy guitar on my neck with the folder spine as my bow. Haha. But then for some reason I was drawn to the electronic organ with colorful buttons. I was young and it was easy to change mind over what I really want over something that caught my eye.
So I came home with my organ. But night came and I wished to myself that I picked the violin instead of this “buttony” piano.
Back to Chino, haha. Whenever I see him playing the violin so passionately, I always wonder if I’d also look like that if ever I picked that violin from that music store years ago. Hearing his parts gives a retro feel to SS songs, retro and romantic. I wonder if he’s like that too.
I’d love to meet him one day, I just hope he won’t play the violin for me, I might cry out of frustration hahahahahahaha. Seriously. O.O
For me he looks like a reserved person, like most violin players I know. Reserved but sensible, not boring, just timely humorous (Paging Mr. Chino, are you really like that? hahaha). At times I am like that, and oh yes I think I was really born to play the violin but I just didn’t grab the chance. :(
Hell yeah frustrations… but my salute and admiration to Mr. Chino David.
